As a Marriage & Family Therapist, I strive to be authentic to who I am as a person. In session it is my goal to celebrate your successes, while at the same time, working on the necessary next steps to achieving your identified goals. As a therapist I strive to meet my clients where they are in order to provide the best possible change. Regardless of the starting point I strive to help my clients discover what aspects of their thinking and behaviors are hindering them from being who they aspire to be. It is important to adapt my theoretical orientation to each client’s individual needs. I am a client-centered and solution-focused therapist. With children and families, I combine Experiential, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to provide an experience that is unique and personal to you and your family. I have found when working with adults CBT and DBT are amazingly effective at helping clients manage anxiety, depression, and expanding their coping skills. At the end of the day, I want to get to know who you, as the client. This is your time and your session!
