Carraus Harden, LPC Licensed Clinician
Carraus Harden is a graduate of Wayne State University, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in professional counseling. Carraus, has been working in the mental health field since 2015 with adolescent’s and their families. Carraus, continues to work with children and families through private practice as well as community mental health. The clinician has been working as a therapist since 2018. My training has allowed me to effectively work with and assist individuals experiencing difficulties with Interpersonal skills, ADHD, ADD, Anxiety, Depression, Physical, Emotional, and Sexual Trauma, Anger management, Suicidal ideation, Bipolar I and II, Personality disorder.
My therapeutic approach includes and is not limited to SFBT (Solution Focused Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and (DBT Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.) As well as Play therapy. Practices used will be based on the needs of the client served and chronological age.
Therapy is a collaborative effort. I work from the mindset that the client is the expert of their life. As the therapist I will be collaborating with my clients and or families to identify needs, as well as set realistic goals to encourage growth. As well as assist in development of skills to manage daily living and environmental circumstances. During the beginning stages of treatment, an individual plan of service will be developed to Identify and address related mental health concerns, the plan of service will also be revisited throughout treatment for needed alterations.
