As a therapist, one of my favorite questions is, “How did you make it through that?” Therapy with me will dive deep into the world you grew up in and who you have always been. I believe healing comes by taking ownership of your patterns and building on the strengths you have always had.

I got my start working with families in 2015, volunteering with art therapy groups of children displaced by war and domestic violence, and have worked in schools, hospitals, and homeless shelters; I have been a practicing therapist since 2021. I work best with women with complex trauma, ADHD and/or autism—who have been told they are “too much” or “not enough,” women who have had to grow up too fast, feel they don’t know themselves, and who struggle to be heard. I don’t shy away from “difficult” topics like suicidal ideation, sexual trauma, anger and rage, and abuse. I believe healing comes from taking back your power in telling your story without shame or stigma.

I bring my lived experience as an Arab/Muslim woman to provide space for those with complex relationships with religion, immigrant/bicultural experiences, and generational trauma. My work with couples focuses on the impact of trauma or neurodivergence on your relationship patterns. When working with families with children aged six, sixteen, or twenty-six, I aim to collaborate actively with everyone—you, your partner, and your child—to build healthy communication, self-understanding, and perspective.
