  • Charlie Harden, Master’s Level Student Intern

My name is Charlie Hogan, and I am an MFT intern at National University. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I am passionate about challenging the misconception that mental health is a myth, especially within the black community.

One of my greatest accomplishments so far is being on track to achieve my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy by the end of this year. This journey holds significant meaning for me as I will be the first person in my family to attain a higher education degree. Alongside my academic pursuits, I am also engaged to my partner of 10 years, whose love and support continue to inspire me.

In my downtime, I find joy and creative expression through playing video games, drawing, and indulging in anime. These hobbies provide a necessary balance and rejuvenation in my work as a therapist. As your Marriage and Family Therapist, my goal is to provide you with the unwavering support you need as you embark on your personal life journey.

I combine solution-focused and narrative family therapy techniques to help as many people as possible achieve a better life. I firmly believe that therapy can be transformative, but it requires effort from all parties involved. Let’s walk this path together.

Join me, Charlie Hogan, and let’s work towards personal growth, improved mental well-being, and a brighter future.
