Lakeshia White, LLMSW, Licensed Clinician

I am a Limited License Social Worker with over three years of experience providing individual, couples, and family therapy. I work with adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and the emotional weight of burnout. My passion is supporting individuals as they build resilience, gain insight into their experiences, and develop healthier ways of coping with life's difficulties. I believe that every person has unique strengths, and I strive to help clients recognize and build upon those strengths as they move toward meaningful and lasting change.

My therapeutic style is warm, down-to-earth, compassionate, and realistic. When you step into my office, my goal is to create a welcoming space where you feel safe, heard, respected, and comfortable enough to express difficult emotions, process past experiences, and explore personal challenges without judgment. I understand that seeking therapy can be a vulnerable step, and I am committed to meeting you where you are in your journey.

Because I view your well-being through the lens of clinical social work, I look at the whole picture of your life—not just your symptoms. Together, we will explore the factors that influence your mental and emotional health, including relationships, environment, life experiences, and personal goals. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, and relational therapy, I help clients develop practical coping skills, strengthen self-awareness, improve communication, and create positive changes that support long-term well-being and personal growth.

You don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, feeling overwhelmed by stress, facing a major life transition, or simply seeking greater balance and fulfillment, I am here to support you. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I would be honored to walk alongside you as you heal, grow, and move toward the life you envision for yourself. If you're ready to take the next step, I am just a phone call away.
